The transmission was installed on:
- Lexus GX460 2 (J150) in 2009 – 2023;

- Toyota Tundra 2 (XK50) in 2009 – 2019.
Disadvantages of the Toyota A760F gearbox
- This is a perfectly reliable automatic gearbox, but it is paired with powerful V8 engines;
- With active owners and frequent wheelspin the torque converter lockup clutch wears out quickly;
- This debris then clogs the valve body and the gearbox starts jerking when shifting;
- And if you ignore it for long, the oil pump bushing will be destroyed and leaks will appear;
- It is also important to keep the cooling system clean, as this gearbox dislikes overheating.
