Disadvantages of the Fiat C530 gearbox
- This is a reliable manual transmission;
- The weak point of this transmission is the synchronizers; they often need to be replaced before 100,000 km;
- Many owners drive without noticing the shifting difficulties;
- This causes the gearshift mechanism to wear out very quickly;
- The bearings are also frequently replaced, but they last slightly longer than in other Fiat manual transmissions.
