Disadvantages of the Mazda FW6A-EL gearbox
- This gearbox is considered very reliable and all the described breakdowns occur rarely.
- The main problem of the transmission is the whine of the central bearing of the housing.
- Next comes the distortion of the double drum Hi\Low with subsequent destruction of the shaft.
- Keep the heat exchanger clean, this automatic transmission really does not like overheating.
