The Audi ML402 6-speed manual transmission was produced by the German company Getrag from 2014 to 2020 and was installed in popular models such as the A4, A5, A6, and Q5, paired with a 2.0-liter diesel engine. There was an 0CS version for front-wheel drive vehicles and an 0CX version for Quattro Ultra all-wheel drive.

Disadvantages of the VW ML402 gearbox

  • There are many complaints on specialized forums about strong vibrations in the manual transmission version 0CX;
  • Usually, changing the oil in the manual transmission or all-wheel drive system components helps;
  • However, in some cases, the vibrations only disappear after a complete transmission overhaul.
