The transmission was installed on:

  • Audi Q7 1 (4L) in 2005 – 2010;
  • Porsche Cayenne 1 (9PA) (as A48.52) in 2002 – 2010;
  • Volkswagen Touareg 1 (7L) in 2002 – 2010.

Disadvantages of the VW AL750 gearbox

  • Transmissions produced before 2005 are known for rapid wear of valve body solenoids.
  • Then an updated valve body appeared with a decent service life of all its elements.
  • When removing and installing an automatic transmission or engine, there is a risk of damage to the oil pump housing.
  • Monitor the condition of the thermostat, it sticks and then the lubricant does not flow through the radiator.
  • Also, many owners have encountered oil leaks through electrical connectors.
