Disadvantages of the Fiat C635 DDCT gearbox
- This isn’t the most reliable robotic transmission, and there are a lot of complaints about it;
- The main problems are caused by the dry clutch unit, which cracks from overheating;
- Bearings in this clutch unit also fail relatively frequently;
- The electro-hydraulic control system can also cause a lot of trouble;
- Hoses are the most common cause of bursting.
