The Fiat Dualogic 5-speed robotic transmission has been assembled by the company since 2003 and is installed in the Fiat 500, Idea, Panda, and Punto. This robotic transmission is based on the C510, C514, and C530 5-speed manual transmissions. A 6-speed version based on the M20 manual transmission was created for the Fiorino model, and the M32 for the Bravo II.

Disadvantages of the Fiat Dualogic gearbox
- The main problem with this robotic transmission is constant leaks in the hydraulic control system;
- And the rubber seals wear out especially quickly when used in cold weather;
- And as soon as the pressure in the system drops, the electric motor burns out from the increased work;
- The clutch release valve stem is the transmission’s weak point; it wears out quickly;
- All other transmission malfunctions are associated with various sensor failures;
- Six-speed versions based on the M20/M32 are known for their poor bearing life.
