The Honda MCKA continuously variable transmission (CVT) was produced at a plant in Japan from 2015 to 2021 and was installed in the tenth-generation Civic with a 1.5-liter L15B7 turbo engine. The similar transmission in the 2.0-liter Civic belongs to the M-CVT series and is known as the JDJC.

Gear ratios Honda MCKA
Using the 2017 Honda Civic X with a 1.5-liter engine as an example:
| Forward | 2.645 – 0.405 |
| Reverse | 2.645 |
| Final Drive | 4.811 |
Using
The transmission was installed on:
- Honda Civic 10 (FC) in 2015 – 2021.
Disadvantages of the Honda MCKA gearbox
- The oil, as well as the coarse and fine filters, must be changed every 40,000 km;
- If the oil is changed infrequently, both filters become clogged and the pressure in the system drops;
- All this leads to jerking during operation, followed by rapid wear of the belt and cones.
