Disadvantages of the Hyundai-Kia A4CF2 gearbox
- The service life of this automatic transmission is highly dependent on the oil change schedule;
- Dirty oil quickly wears out the valve body solenoids, causing vibrations;
- In the most severe cases, wear can even cause the oil pump bushing to slip;
- At mileage levels exceeding 150,000 km, planetary gear failure is common;
- Weak points in automatic transmissions also include solenoid wiring and constantly leaking oil seals.
