The Jatco JF009E continuously variable transmission, also known as the RE0F08A and RE0F08B, was produced from 2002 to 2014 and installed in smaller Nissan models with engines up to 1.8 liters and 175 Nm of torque. This transmission is primarily known from Japanese right-hand drive vehicles.

- Nissan Note 1 (E11) in 2004 – 2012;
- Nissan Tiida 1 (C11) in 2004 – 2012;
- Nissan Wingroad 3 (Y12) in 2005 – 2014.
Disadvantages of the Jatco JF009E gearbox
- The CVT’s reliability is quite good, as it’s paired with less powerful engines;
- Most often, the stepper motor is replaced;
- Driving with frequent revving will quickly stretch the belt, causing it to slip;
- Dust from worn mechanical parts clogs the solenoids, causing slippage;
- The oil pump is often repaired, and its pressure relief valve requires replacement.
