The Peugeot 2-Tronic 5-speed robotic transmission was produced from 2005 to 2014 and installed in popular PSA vehicles: the Peugeot 207 and Citroën C3. A similarly named Aisin transmission was installed in the 107 and C1 subcompact models.

Using
The transmission was installed on:
- Peugeot 1007 I (A8) in 2005 – 2009;
- Peugeot 207 I (A7) in 2006 – 2014;
- Citroen C3 II (A51) in 2009 – 2013.
Disadvantages of the Peugeot 2-Tronic gearbox
- The initialization procedure often resolves robotic transmission jerking issues;
- The plastic pressure mechanism or clutch actuator wears out quickly;
- The gear selector actuator fails at approximately 150,000 km;
- Service stations periodically encounter the need to replace the control unit;
- The clutch assembly is often replaced; it typically wears out by 50,000 km.
