The 8-speed automatic transmission Aisin TL-80SD or AWR8L60 was produced in Japan from 2013 to 2019 and was installed only on the 3rd generation of the popular Cadillac CTS model in the Vsport modification. This automatic transmission was combined with a 3.6-liter LF3 turbo unit and was designed for a torque of 600 Nm.

The transmission was installed on:
- Cadillac CTS III (A1LL) in 2013 – 2019.
Disadvantages of the TL-80SD gearbox
- All the problems here are typical for any Aisin automatic transmission from this family;
- Due to the high torque of a turbo engine, the torque converter clutch wears out quickly;
- Then this dirt clogs the valve body and shocks appear when switching the gearbox;
- Driving with a worn clutch breaks the oil pump bushing and causes leaks.
