The Citroen SensoDrive 5-speed robotic transmission was produced from 2002 to 2009 and installed on popular models like the C2 and C3 with engines up to 1.6 liters. The compact C1 hatchback was equipped with a robotic transmission with a similar name, but it was manufactured by Aisin.

- Citroen C3 I (A31) in 2002 – 2009.
Disadvantages of the Peugeot SensoDrive gearbox
- Most transmission problems are often resolved by the clutch initialization procedure;
- Electromechanical actuators have a short service life and don’t last longer than 100,000 km;
- The clutch assembly can wear out after 50,000 to 80,000 kilometers;
- Very rarely, but sometimes the electronic transmission control unit fails.
