The Peugeot DCS6, or 6DCT470, 6-speed preselective robotic transmission was assembled from 2009 to 2010 and installed in the 4007 and C-Crosser crossovers, which are essentially clones of the Mitsubishi Outlander XL. The transmission is capable of handling torque from powerful diesel engines up to 470 Nm.

Using
The transmission was installed on:
- Citroen C-Crosser I (EP) in 2009 – 2013;
- Peugeot 4007 I (I3) in 2007 – 2012;
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 10 (CZ) in 2007 – 2016;
- Mitsubishi Outlander 2 (CW) in 2007 – 2012.
Disadvantages of the Peugeot DCS6 gearbox
- Most transmission glitches are related to overheating; keep the radiators clean;
- Many service calls are caused by problems with the transmission’s electronic control board;
- If you don’t change the oil for a long time, the mechatronic solenoids will become clogged, causing vibrations;
- The service life of a dual clutch is 100,000 to 150,000 km, and replacement is quite expensive.
