Disadvantages of the Audi 0AN gearbox
- It is forbidden to tow cars with such a transmission, the CVT may break down.
- The delicate transmission control unit is afraid of severe overheating and dirty oil.
- After 150,000 kilometers, there is a high probability of the drive chain stretching.
- Wear products gradually clog the solenoids and this reduces the lubricant pressure.
- Minor problems include the breakdown of the injection pump and leaks from the seals.
