The 8-speed preselective robotic gearbox ZF 8DT-55 has been produced at a plant in Germany since 2019 and is installed on basic modifications of the Porsche 911 in the 992 body, such as the Carrera S and Carrera GTS. There is a version of this PDK for rear-wheel drive cars 8DT55HL and all-wheel drive 8DT55HLA.
8DT family: 8DT-55, 8DT-80.

Disadvantages of the ZF 8DT-55 gearbox
- As always, in the first years of production there were problems with shocks and everything was treated with firmware.
- You need to regularly update the lubricant or you will have to clean the valve body at 100,000 km.
- For an overly active owner, the clutch block may wear out up to 50,000 km.
- It is also necessary to note the very high cost of a new gearbox.
