Disadvantages of the Aisin AW95-51LS gearbox
- This is a fairly reliable automatic transmission, but its hydraulic unit is very sensitive to dirty oil.
- With rare lubrication renewal, the solenoids become clogged with wear products from the clutches.
- And even closer to 150,000 km, the Teflon ring breaks the groove in the rear cover of the automatic transmission.
- Then the lubrication pressure gradually decreases and the clutches in the packs begin to burn.
- Also, frequent sharp accelerations greatly reduce the resource of the planetary satellites.
