Disadvantages of the Aisin XB-20LN gearbox
- This transmission is installed on a compact model with a weak unit and has a long service life;
- Even the typical K3 series problem with the Forward drum is rare here;
- However, frequent acceleration from a standstill and slippage quickly wear out the shaft bearings;
- And with excessive oil change intervals, the valve body becomes clogged with wear debris;
- Also, complaints about lubricant leaks, especially in the drives, are common on specialized forums.
