The Chrysler 41AE 4-speed automatic transmission was assembled by the company from 1991 to 2007 and installed in all-wheel drive versions of the mass-produced Voyager and Caravan minivans. However, in many markets, this transmission is better known as the Chrysler Pacifica automatic transmission.

Disadvantages of the Chrysler 41AE gearbox
- Until about 1998, this automatic transmission was clearly a bit underdeveloped and caused a lot of trouble;
- The transmission was later improved, but there are still quite a few electrical issues;
- Renew the torque converter clutch every 90,000 km or the oil pump bushing will break;
- The solenoid block needs to be cleaned regularly, fortunately this is quite easy;
- It also has a weak planetary gear, which is damaged by prolonged slippage.
