The Jatco JR405E 4-speed automatic transmission has been produced since 1999 and is still widely used in many commercial vehicles and pickup trucks from various automakers. This transmission has its own designation in Mazda vehicles: RC4A-EL.

Disadvantages of the Jatco JR405E gearbox
- This transmission has no weak points and breaks down only due to natural wear;
- Regular oil changes increase the service life of this transmission at least twofold;
- The clutches and brake bands only wear out at high mileage.
