The Jatco RE4F03B 4-speed automatic transmission was first introduced in 1999 and is the newest and most powerful transmission in the 4F03 line. It is available on front- or all-wheel drive models with engines ranging from 2.0 to 3.0 liters, but produces no more than 280 Nm of torque.

- Nissan Teana J31 in 2003 – 2006.
Disadvantages of the Jatco RE4F03B gearbox
- One of the most reliable automatic transmissions in its class is only vulnerable to lubricant contamination;
- Friction wear products are spread throughout the system, clogging solenoids;
- Shocks, jerks, and vibrations damage seals and cause oil leaks;
- Oil starvation quickly destroys the planetary gear.
