  • Opel Combo B (S93) in 1993 – 1997;
  • Opel Corsa B (S93) in 1993 – 1998;

Disadvantages of the Opel F15 gearbox

  • The reliability of this transmission depends heavily on the size of the car and the power of its engine;
  • On compact models like the Corsa and Tigra, this transmission works without any problems;
  • However, Astra and Vectra owners may hear bearing noise as early as 50,000 km;
  • Don’t delay replacing bearings, or they will fall apart and damage shafts and gears;
  • Also, forums regularly complain about leaks and the limited lifespan of synchronizers.
