Disadvantages of the Toyota A443E gearbox
- This is a fairly reliable and durable gearbox with a decent service life;
- Such automatic transmissions usually come in for repair completely worn out, after 300,000 km;
- A quality rebuild is not cheap here and a workshop can be hard to find;
- That is why few people repair them and simply look for a used replacement instead;
- We also recommend replacing the set of gaskets and oil seals every 10 years of service.
