Disadvantages of the Toyota U340E gearbox
- This automatic transmission has operational disadvantages, but there are no problems with reliability.
- Often there is an oil leak from the pump seal, change it together with the bushing.
- Due to a weak rear cover, the reverse drum sometimes warps in the gearbox.
- The remaining breakdowns are most often caused by natural wear and tear of the transmission.
