Disadvantages of the Toyota U340E gearbox

  • This automatic transmission has operational disadvantages, but there are no problems with reliability.
  • Often there is an oil leak from the pump seal, change it together with the bushing.
  • Due to a weak rear cover, the reverse drum sometimes warps in the gearbox.
  • The remaining breakdowns are most often caused by natural wear and tear of the transmission.
