The Aisin AW60-41LE 4-speed automatic transmission was produced at a plant in Japan from 2001 to 2007 and was installed in front-wheel drive versions of the Suzuki Liana and Aerio with the M16A and M18A powertrains. This transmission is rare in other markets and is identical in design to the AW60-40LE.

Disadvantages of the Aisin AW60-41LE gearbox
- It’s not used with powerful engines, and the torque converter clutch wears out after 250,000 km;
- And if the lubricant isn’t changed, the valve body will become clogged with wear debris, causing vibrations;
- If the torque converter clutch wears critically, vibrations will damage the oil pump bushing;
- At high mileage, the wiring and input and output speed sensors are also replaced.
