Disadvantages of the AW30-50LE gearbox
- First of all, this is a rare transmission and finding a donor for it is not very easy;
- But reliability is all right here, breakdowns occur only at high mileage;
- After 250,000 km, the torque converter locking clutch often wears out;
- Then this dirt clogs the solenoids and the automatic transmission begins to push when switching;
- Next, shaft vibrations usually appear, which break the oil pump bushing.
