Disadvantages of the Aisin TF-73SC gearbox

  • This automatic transmission is installed with low-power motors and therefore has a good resource.
  • However, it absolutely does not tolerate off-road operation and especially slipping.
  • It is also important to monitor the cooling system, this gearbox is very afraid of overheating.
  • The remaining problems are associated with a clogged hydraulic unit due to rare oil changes.
  • At high mileage, wear of the Teflon rings on the drums is regularly encountered.
