The Ford 6MX65 or Getrag 6MTT215 6-speed manual transmission has been in production since 2016 and is used in the Fiesta and Focus with 1.0 EcoBoost turbocharged engines and 1.5 EcoBlue diesel engines. This transmission belongs to the latest MX65 series and is available in a 5-speed 5MX65 version.

Disadvantages of the Ford 6MX65 gearbox
- This manual transmission is new, and information about its failures is still limited;
- A known issue is the rapid wear of the synchronizers in the first two gears;
- The manufacturer updated the design, and since 2022, the transmission has become much more reliable;
- It is important to monitor for oil leaks, as the oil sump capacity is very small.
