Disadvantages of the Getrag 6DCT250 gearbox
- A well-known weak point of this robot is the unreliable TCM control module;
- The second most common problem is rapid wear of the clutch pack, which sometimes requires replacement at 50,000 km;
- A common cause of rapid clutch wear is leaks in the input shaft seal;
- Driving with a worn clutch significantly reduces the lifespan of the synchronizers and gears;
- There are also several cases online where clutch forks and their servos have been replaced.
