The Getrag 6DCT450 6-speed robotic transmission with dual wet clutches was assembled from 2008 to 2016 and installed in Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Volvo, and a number of Chinese models. In many markets, this robotic transmission is better known as the Ford Powershift or MPS6.

Disadvantages of the Getrag 6DCT450 gearbox
- The main problem with this transmission is rapid wear of the clutch pack;
- The mechatronic solenoids become clogged with wear debris, causing the transmission to jerk;
- The plastic shift fork tips crack during abrupt starts;
- A known weak point here is the short-lived flywheel damper springs;
- The transmission has two filters: coarse and fine, and both need to be updated.
