Disadvantages of the GM 10L60 gearbox

  • So far, the main complaints are related to jolts and jerks when shifting;
  • A number of new firmware updates have already been released, and many of these issues have been resolved;
  • The known issue with the CIDAS solenoid mount from the 10R60 has not yet been encountered;
  • It’s also worth noting that this is a fairly rare automatic transmission, and finding a donor is very difficult.
