Disadvantages of the Jatco JF021E gearbox
- So far, this transmission hasn’t been heavily criticized on forums, and no recalls have been announced;
- The key to long-lasting performance of this transmission is regular oil changes;
- Also, avoid sudden acceleration, prolonged wheel spin, and driving without warming up in winter;
- This transmission is designed for the Japanese market, so service may be an issue.
