Gearbox Toyota A750F

The Toyota A750F 5-speed automatic transmission has been produced by the company since 2002 and is installed on many all-wheel drive models of the concern, as well as on rear-wheel drive ones like the A750E. This automatic transmission is a variation of the Aisin TB-50LS, which was installed on Isuzu, Hyundai and Mitsubishi.

This series includes: A350, A650, A750.

Disadvantages of the Toyota A750F gearbox

  • This is a strong gearbox and problems arise only when used too hard.
  • The torque converter lock-up clutch wears out first, contaminating the oil.
  • Then the dirty lubricant damages the solenoids and corrodes the channels in the valve body.
  • When the torque converter clutch wears out, vibrations appear and the oil pump bushing breaks.
  • Next, a strong oil leak usually appears, which is quite dangerous for the transmission.
