Disadvantages of the Toyota A761E gearbox
- This is a very reliable automatic transmission, but it was installed with powerful 8-cylinder engines.
- For active owners, the lubricant quickly becomes contaminated with friction wear products.
- If you do not regularly change the oil in the gearbox, then the solenoids do not last particularly long.
- In the most advanced cases, this dirt will simply corrode the channels of the valve body plate.
- Also, the service station periodically changes the oil pump bushing and solenoid wiring.
