The Audi DL800 7-speed dual-clutch robotic transmission has been assembled in Ingolstadt since 2012 and is used in the updated first-generation and second-generation R8 models, designated 0BZ. This transmission is also installed in the platform-sharing Lamborghini Huracan sports car.

Disadvantages of the VW DL800 gearbox
- This is a very reliable transmission, but only if you don’t overdo it with engine tuning;
- Also, with heavy use, it’s recommended to change the oil every 30,000 km;
- The only known issue with this transmission is oil leaks at the bolts;
- A number of third-party manufacturers offer titanium bolt replacement kits.
