Disadvantages of the AW30-40LS gearbox
- This is a fairly reliable and durable automatic transmission and has no reliability problems;
- But if it is overly active, the torque converter locking clutch can quickly wear out;
- And then the valve body becomes clogged with wear products and the gearbox begins to push;
- Further, due to shaft vibrations, the oil pump bushing breaks and oil leaks appear;
- The weak points of this automatic transmission also include speed sensors and selector position sensors.
