The Toyota K112 gearbox and all-wheel drive K112F were produced by the concern from 2005 to 2019 and installed on models such as Alphard, Blade, RAV4 and Estima with a 2.4-liter 2ZR-FE engine. This gearbox is essentially a strengthened version of the well-known CVT with the index K111-K111F.
This series includes: K110, K111, K112, K114, K115, K120.

Disadvantages of the Toyota K112 gearbox
- The weak point of this box is the bearings; sometimes they last less than 100,000 km.
- The remaining CVT problems are somehow related to contamination of the valve body.
- When the oil is changed infrequently, the solenoids become clogged and the gearbox begins to operate jerkily.
- If you do not pay attention to this, then you will face an expensive repair with belt replacement.
- Keep the cooling system clean, this greatly affects the transmission life.
