The Toyota K120 gearbox (and all-wheel drive K120F) or Direct Shift-CVT have been produced since 2018 and are installed on such popular models of the Japanese concern as Corolla, Rav 4, Yaris and Camry. This continuously variable transmission differs from its analogues in the presence of a mechanical first gear.

Disadvantages of the Toyota K120 gearbox
- Thanks to the mechanical first gear, the transmission is no longer afraid of sudden starts.
- For the same reason, there are now no problems with slipping or swinging movements.
- As with any modern transmission, it is recommended to change the oil every 60,000 km.
- Keep the cooling system clean, this greatly affects the transmission life.
