Disadvantages of the TB-68LS gearbox
- This is a reliable and durable transmission, but it is installed with very powerful V8 units;
- For an active owner, the lubricant quickly becomes contaminated with friction wear products;
- So change the oil more often or the solenoids in the valve body will not last long;
- In particularly advanced cases, dirty lubricant destroys the channels in the valve body plate;
- The weak points of the automatic transmission also include short-lived bushings and the Forward drum.
