Disadvantages of the TB-60SN gearbox
- When combined with V6 engines, this gearbox runs more than 300,000 km without problems;
- But with V8 engines, the service life of the gearbox greatly depends on the operating mode;
- During active driving, the torque converter locking clutch quickly wears out, contaminating the oil;
- And then the dirty lubricant damages the solenoids and corrodes the valve body channels;
- If you drive for a long time with a worn torque converter clutch, it breaks the oil pump bushing.
