- Honda Stream 1 (RN) in 2000 – 2006.
Disadvantages of the Honda SLXA gearbox
- With regular oil changes, this automatic transmission will last 300,000 km or more without any problems;
- Dirty lubricant significantly reduces the lifespan of the solenoids and valve body channels;
- Every 200,000 km, it is highly recommended to replace the torque converter clutch;
- Otherwise, the transmission will become clogged with wear debris, requiring a replacement;
- Weak points here also include the overrunning clutch and selector position sensor.
