Disadvantages of the Aisin AW 03-70LE gearbox
- This is a simple and reliable automatic transmission, capable of going 300,000 km before a major overhaul.
- These automatic transmissions are sent for repair when the oil pump bushing breaks and leaks appear.
- Also, the caliper sealing rings fill the grooves in the clutch baskets.
- And then you have to look for baskets at dismantlers, which is becoming more and more difficult.
- And in case of failure, solenoids and sensors are usually helped by a simple flush.
